Win No.3 for Rossi

Valentino Rossi took his third win of the season at the Dutch MotoGP at Assen.

Rossi started from 11th on the grid!, and only gained 1 place from the start. After a few laps in tenth he seemed to gain momentum and scythed through the field with ease.

Rossi’s bike seemed to be able to turn much faster than those around him, which allowed him to overtake even when there didn’t seem enough room.

Valentino eventually caught up with Casey Stoner who had led the race from the start and set about attempting to pass him. Stoner seemed to be holding Valentino off as the Assen track is only narrow, but with 3 laps to go Rossi took the lead.

Valentino didn’t look back and managed to pull out a gap virtually straight away, Stoner had no answer leaving Rossi to lead the way home to what seemed his favorite victory so far this season, that’s if his reaction over the line is anything to go by!.
