Firefox Add-ons I use

  • If mediaplayer is not displaying in your browser install these plugins: Mediawrap or this one Port25

I searched for ages to fix this problem most of the fixes didn’t work or had to open mediaplayer itself.

  • If websites don’t seem to work correctly under Firefox install this plugin: IE Tab

This plugin allows you to quickly switch between browsers from within Firefox, this is also handy for seeing how your site will display within both.

  • To view EXIF data from pictures displayed on the web install this plugin: Exif Viewer

EXIF data is basically any information the camera stored about settings, date, time etc when a picture was taken. This can be useful if you are new to photography and trying to learn the ropes as it allows you to see how other peoples cameras are setup for different types of photography eg. landscape, portrait, macro etc

The above list is a little bit short at the minute, I’m currently in the process of rebuilding my PC as it died! I will add to the list once I find all the ones I was using previously.
